Talk about the catch of the day.

While out on a fishing trip in the Florida Keys, the mayor of Tampa uncovered quite the find.

Out with her family, Jane Castor, the city’s former police chief and current mayor, reeled in a 70-pound package of cocaine floating in the Atlantic.

In all, the package has an estimated street value of approximately $1.1 million, according to reports from CNN.

The bizarre occurrence happened on July 23 where the package of drugs was discovered south of Marathon, the U.S. Border Patrol confirmed.

Castor was said to have saved the location on her watch as her family hauled the package out of the water and onto their recreational boat. She then contacted the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office to report the drugs, according to reports.

According to the border agency and Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, once Border Patrol agents with the Miami Sector arrived onto the scene, they took custody of the drugs.

The package was said to have contained 25 bricks of cocaine, which had a picture of a butterfly printed on each one.

“We appreciate the ongoing support from our boating community. Thanks to the efforts of this Good Samaritan, 70 pounds of cocaine are in federal custody and off our streets. We encourage the community to immediately report suspicious activity to local authorities,” Assistant Chief Patrol Agent Adam Hoffner said to CNN.

Castor spent 31 years with the Tampa Police Department. She ascended to become Tampa’s first female Chief of Police for six years before her current role as mayor.
