The 2025 Crafted in Philly Beer Tour set to take flight
There are more than 150 different craft breweries just in the region and a couple of Temple graduates and friends Evan Blum and Cole Decker identified a need to get them all together.
That need became Brewdat.com, a site fast becoming the place to find events and everything else beer.
“There’s a disconnect between the current alcohol space and Gen Z,” said co-founder Evan Blum. “It’s a big topic of industry and I just saw a need for that for myself because I was going around to different breweries. The reason that I was going to these breweries was I love the experience each place had to offer. I was going because I wanted to try a flight at this place. I wanted to see the differences at each brewery.”
Brewdat.com has teamed up with Letsrallie.com to give local beer lovers and those wanting to try new breweries and tastes.
The 2025 Crafted in Philly Beer Tour is a $50 ticket that allows guests to enjoy one 8-to-12 ounce pour of their choice at participating breweries and be able to vote on their favorite beer style, brewery, overall atmosphere and more.
Tickets are available at https://letsrallie.ticketspice.com/craftedinphilly.
“We’ve almost tripled in the amount of participants we have,” said Blum. “We’ve been in business for two and a half years. Our name has kind of like grown a bit more and our credibility has also kind of grown a bit more. Through that it has helped this project to actually bring in more participants that are more familiar with our work and understand our mission. It’s very experienced based and our core mission is to bring a younger generation into the space and get more foot traffic to locations.”
The 2025 event will feature 31 breweries and 34 locations around Philadelphia and the suburbs.
Participants include Bitchin’ Kitten Brewery (Morrisville), Dock Street Brewing Co. (Philadelphia), Workhorse Brewing Co. (King of Prussia) and Yards Brewing (Philadelphia). Nonbeer locations include Cider Belly Hard Cider (Philadelphia), Hale and True Cider Company (Philadelphia), and Young American Hard Cider & Tasting Room (Philadelphia).
A full list of participating breweries can be found by visiting https://letsrallie.com/crafted-in-philly.
“We’re trying to make it a no-brainer,” Blum said. “It’s like under two bucks a beer. Obviously in a crazy economy that we’re in right now, like that’s pretty unheard of too. So support local and really just build these relationships between like these people and getting people out.”
The Crafted in Philly Beer Tour runs April 25-July 31.
