A Berks County teenager who was reported missing nearly a year ago has been found at the home of a North Carolina man during a sexual assault investigation, according to authorities.

Police in High Point only said the teen girl was from Pennsylvania, but Berks County District Attorney John Adams said the teen is from Berks. Adams said he couldn’t be more specific.

Joseph A. Rossomando, 32, of High Point was arrested and faces more than 15 charges, High Point police said.

According to a release from the police department:

High Point Police Department’s Patrol Division officers and Special Victims Unit detectives responded to a home in the 2000 block of Treyburn Lane on Monday about 4:20 a.m.

Officers determined Rossomando had child sexual abuse material and he was taken into custody.

They also obtained a search warrant for the home and seized several electronic devices.

Rossomando is charged with seven counts each of statutory sex offense with a child less than 15 and statutory rape of a child less than 15; and one count each of human trafficking of a child victim; sexual servitude of a child victim; second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor; statutory rape; first-degree kidnapping; and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
