Illness closes Tri-County Active Adult Center in Pottstown
POTTSTOWN — The Tri-County Active Adult Center at 288 Moser Road will be closed for at least a week due to illness among the staff.
“Out of caution and care, we will be closing the center to allow people to recover and help keep illness from spreading as much as possible,” according to an announcement posted on the center’s Facebook page.
No lunch will be served, and all indoor programs and events are canceled starting Monday, Oct. 6, according to the center. Most outside center-related programs are also canceled, except Weight Watchers, Evansburg exercise classes, and SHARE Food Box pick up.
Center officials expect to reopen the facility on Monday, Oct. 13.
The closure of Tri-County Active Adult Center also means the regional office of state Rep. Joe Ciresi, which is housed at the center, will also be closed starting Monday.
Ciresi, D-146th Dist., anticipates that his office there will reopen the week of Oct. 13.
Ciresi’s staff will still be able to help constituents at his Royersford District Office, at Park Towne Plaza301 North Lewis Road, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., as well as at his satellite office at Montgomery County Community College, North Hall, Pottstown, on Tuesday and Thursday, noon – 3 p.m.
