PIAA 6A boys basketball: New Castle ousts Wilson in the first round
Sophomore Kai Cox scored 22 points as New Castle defeated Wilson 68-38 in the first round of the PIAA 6A boys basketball tournament on Saturday at New Castle High School.
New Castle, second in District 7, plays Methacton, third in District 1, in the second round on Wednesday.
Methacton beat Whitehall 49-46 on Saturday.
Wilson (17-11) was led by Kaler Cornish who had 7 points.
