A joint investigation by the Montgomery County Detective Bureau and the Lower Merion Township Police Department found dashcam footage from a Lower Merion police patrol vehicle that captured the officer pulling in front of a white Hyundai Azera driven by Roberts, leaving the scene of the homicide.
The vehicle has a Pennsylvania Registration 24963 PD.

During a search through PennDOT records, detectives matched the vehicle to a resident on Sansom Street in Philadelphia.
Also found on the dash camera footage was a green Jeep Cherokee, later revealed to be owned by the victim, found leaving the scene.
On Sansom Street, the Jeep Cherokee was identified and recovered for processing.
At the Sansom Street address, police spoke to a juvenile at the residence, and showed them a photograph of the suspect in the Hyundai Azera. The juvenile identified the person as Kelvin Roberts.
The DA’s office is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to Roberts’ apprehension. For anyone with tips on the whereabouts of Roberts, call Lower Merion Police Department at 610-278-3386 or Montgomery County Detectives at 610-278-3386.
