EHD Insurance receives national ‘Best Practices’ designation

For the eighth consecutive year, EHD Insurance has been named by the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America as a “Best Practices” agency.

The designation comes as part of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America annual study of agencies from across the country, and  is attributed to EHD’s active participation in the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America Best Practices Study group, according to a press release.

The annual survey and study, focused on leading independent insurance agencies, captures the operational strategies of “the most exemplary agencies, while encouraging others to adopt similar standards.”

“The unwavering commitment of our dedicated employees to delivering exceptional customer service fills me with immense pride. Achieving this recognition for the eighth consecutive year underscores the profound significance of EHD’s legacy as a privately held agency,” Mike Malinowski, EHD’s president and CEO, said in a statement.

This year, a total of 284 agencies in 46 states received the designation, according to information on the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America website.

The chosen Best Practices agencies maintain their status throughout a three-year cycle by submitting comprehensive financial and operational data for meticulous review each year, according to the release. This is the second year of the ongoing three-year study cycle. In 2022, 2,600 independent agencies across the United States were nominated, with 287 agencies achieving the designation.

“Selection required the agency to be positioned among the top 35-45 performing agencies within one of six revenue categories,” the release stated.
