Jerry Shenk: Biden’s out, now what?

Now that the conspirators who got him in, propped up and controlled him for three-plus years have forced him out, is there anyone who still thinks Joe Biden is “sharp as a tack?”

Party bigwigs and their national media allies already knew back in 2020 that Biden was incapable of conducting a vigorous – or any meaningful – campaign. But he was the best they had, so, using COVID as an excuse, they sequestered him in his Delaware basement, and the lie about Biden’s “fitness” began.

The cover-up continued even after Special Counsel Robert Hur’s June 2023 report recommended against criminally prosecuting Biden for mishandling classified documents, because it would be difficult to convict an “elderly man with a poor memory” who suffered from “diminished faculties.”

Biden’s vice president, his entire cabinet and virtually every congressional Democrat reassured America that Hur was wrong, that Biden was sharp, engaged, and in charge. Trained seals in media clapped and barked in unison.

Democrats even rigged their primaries to eliminate any significant opposition; their media seals repeated things they knew were false; and they all expected to get away with it – until the scam was exposed.

Always controllable, Joe’s unfitness was never a problem for Democrats or the media. Their problem surfaced on June 27, 2024, when the public witnessed an event that put the final nail in the coffin of their collaborative fraud – Biden’s catastrophic debate performance.

Weeks of defiance signaled that Biden didn’t willingly withdraw – there’s even speculation that the withdrawal announcement was made without his knowledge or approval.

Make no mistake, though, willingly or not, Biden’s removal was a third-world coup carried out by powerful, self-interested conspirators – allegedly to “save democracy” – who undemocratically canceled the primary votes of 15 million rank-and-file Democrats to take out a man who served his party’s interests for a half-century.

In the end, Biden’s vengeance for that humiliation may have been to name Vice President Kamala Harris as his successor.

While Democrats, generally, praised Biden’s alleged decision to withdraw, former President Barack Obama, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, among other prominent Democrats, declined, at least initially, to endorse Harris. One suspects they feared – still fear – that a shallow, vapid, unaccomplished, unqualified Harris is unelectable.

However, Harris received endorsements from a number of elected Democrats, including some mentioned as Biden replacements, although one might assume that the latter was given to make them look like team players while hoping that Harris is bypassed, and they get a shot at the nomination.

In fact, Harris’s post-endorsement “honeymoon” polling mirrors Biden’s polling weaknesses – different clown, same circus – nonetheless, identity-obsessed Democrats could be stuck with a female “person of color” – ironically the same “skills” for which Biden picked Harris in 2020.

But, party “unity” is illusory. Behind the scenes, there are so many conflicting interests, ambitions, personalities, and moving parts that Kamala’s ultimate fate may not be known until after lots of (hopefully metaphorical) blood has been spilled at their August convention.

It may be too early to declare a winner, but some clear losers exist.

After the Biden family, the biggest losers are national media that, for years, have served as Democrat propagandists. Claiming to be blindsided by Biden’s lousy debate performance, certain national media figures amusingly attempted to portray themselves as victims.

However, perpetrators aren’t victims. ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, the AP, NY Times, and Washington Post, among other liberal outlets whose party loyalty outweighed journalistic integrity and loyalty to America, knowingly – deliberately – perpetrated the fraud.

Sadly, not every voter is sufficiently engaged or informed to see that electing a barely cognizant man nominated by a fiscally irresponsible, radically “woke” party that bends over backward to normalize and avoid “offending” relative handfuls of political, social, sexual and cultural misfits was destined to end badly.

Now, voters who fell for the Democrat/media Biden “fitness” scam in 2020 must ask themselves if they can believe anything the same people tell them about the party’s eventual 2024 nominee.

Because the past is almost always prologue in politics, liberal media are already falling in line, sanitizing Kamala’s dismal record, and selling her as the Second Coming, even at the expense of their vestigial credibility.

Biden voters, wake up. Democrats and their media enablers played you for suckers in 2020. Don’t let them do it again.
