Members 1st kicks-off member appreciation month
Members 1st Federal Credit Union wants to show its appreciation this month for its more than half-a-million members. This week, the Cumberland County-based credit union launched its “We Love Our Members” campaign.
During the credit union’s third annual member appreciation month, Members 1st associates will celebrate five generations of members across nearly 60 branches — in its communities and through its online platforms, the company said in a press release.
“Our members are at the core of everything we do. Our associates take great pride in getting to know our members and helping them through all of life’s moments and milestones,” Mike Wilson, Members 1st president & CEO, said in a statement. “We are so grateful for the opportunity to both recognize our members in fun ways throughout member appreciation month and to support them in their financial journeys year-round.”
Throughout January, credit union members will be randomly selected by associates to receive gift cards or exclusive promotional items. In addition, branch managers will host “Food Friday” events to support and celebrate local business members.
Members of the credit union living outside the financial institution’s 10-county footprint will also have opportunities to participate in the celebration. They will be able to participate in contests on social media channels and through digital banking, where they could be randomly selected to receive gift cards and other prizes, the company said.
During the month, the credit union will randomly choose four winners — one each week — to receive a $500 deposit into a Members 1st regular savings account. In addition, one winner will be selected to enjoy a VIP ice hockey experience to watch either a Lehigh Valley Phantoms or Hershey Bears home game.
A special grand prize will be revealed to members and followers in mid-January, the company said.
Members 1st operates nearly 60 branch locations across 10 Pennsylvania counties, including three locations in Berks County — in Exeter, Cumru and South Heidelberg townships.
