Elijah Cline tallied a game-high 27 points to lead Owen J. Roberts to a demonstrative PAC Frontier triumph over Upper Perk. Cline had plenty of help as Danny Walker added 18 points and Gavin Winnick posted a dozen for the Wildcats, who improved to 8-5 overall and 3-2 in division play.
Robert Rice led the Indians (3-10, 1-4) with 16 points and Darius Reid chipped in 12 points in a losing effort.

Riley Ford-Bey led all scorers with 17 points as Phoenixville took care of business at home against non-league challenger Oxford on Friday night. Taylor Schneider recorded a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds and Kayden Baratta contributed 13 points for the Phantoms (6-7 overall).

DVGTCA Meet Number 5 (Lehigh University):
Boyertown: The Bears had a strong showing at Lehigh to open the New Year, with Harper Glennon winning the 60-meter dash in 7.87 seconds and the 4×200 relay squad also captured first place in 1:49.03; Samantha Hemingway finished top five in both the triple jump (third, 32’-9”) and high jump (fourth, 4’-11”); Taylor Rosen finished third in the 60-meter hurdles (9.60), with Brianna Stankina taking fifth place in her heat (10.06); Julianna Knarr nabbed ninth place in shot put (31’-2.25”); finally, the Bears’ 4×800 also secured a top 10 finish (10:26.99).
Methacton: Victoria James was Methacton’s big winner on Friday, winning the shot put event with a distance of 39’-0.75”; Sydney Young registered a sixth-place finish in pole vault (8’-6”); Eva Rojas was ninth in the 60 hurdles (10.30); and the Lady Warriors 4×200 relay squad finished in eighth place (1:56.61).
Perkiomen Valley: Ava Flicker scored Perk Valley’s best finish at Friday night’s meet, earning a second-place finish in the shot put (36’-11.25”); Jane Fisher also secured a top 10 finish, placing eighth in the high jump (4’-9”).
Spring-Ford: Akaylia Grey was victorious in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing in 9.36 seconds; Madison Johnson took second in the 400-meter dash (1:01.23); and the Spring-Ford distance medley relay team crossed the finish line in seventh place (14:14.82).
Upper Perkiomen: Sallybeth McClaskey had Upper Perkiomen’s best finish at Lehigh, placing 13th in the 60 hurdles (10.65 seconds).
Boys Indoor Track
La Salle Winter Series Boys Sprint Night (University of Pennsylvania):
Methacton competed in the La Salle Winter Boys Sprint Night at UPenn’s Jane and David Ott Center on Friday, with Isaac Novia earning the team’s best finish, placing fifth in the pole vault at an even 10 feet. Jeramiah Villanueva finished 13th in the long jump with a distance of 19 feet.
