BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Perkiomen Valley 67, Wissahickon 41

Julian Sadler struck for 12 first-quarter points and rolled on to a 31-point game to head host Perk Valley’s victory over Wissahickon at the PV Holiday Tournament. Sadler hit five 3-pointers. Kyle Shawaluk (13) and Josh Tagert (10) were other PV top contributors.

The Warriors improved to 6-2 with a takedown of North Penn in the Perk Valley Holiday Shootout. Alex Hermann led all scorers with 16 points and sophomore Mason Conrad added 14 points.  Methacton jumped out to an early lead and was able to withstand a Knights run in the third quarter with a strong finish to the quarter.

Bensalem burst to a 100-point game and got 29 points from Jaidyn Moffitt in a non-league win over Norristown. Jayden Byrd scored 29 and Myon Kirlew 23 for the Eagles.

Perkiomen Valley 62, Metropolitan Campus (NY) 20

Perk Valley cruised in its first of three games at the KSA Holiday Tournament in Kissimmee, Fla. The Lady Vikings accelerated to a 36-13 halftime lead thanks to lockdown defense. There was a trio of Perkiomen Valley players in double figures with Quinn Boettinger scoring 15 points, Grace Galbavy scoring 14 points, and Bella Bacani adding 10 points.
