Girls Basketball

Perkiomen Valley 83, Spring-Ford 40

All five members of Perk Valley’s starting lineup tallied 10 points or more, led by Quinn Boettinger’s 17. Grace Galbavy added 15 for the Vikings, who converted 10 3-pointers for the second consecutive contest and completed their regular season sweep of Spring-Ford. Grace Miley and Bella Bacani had 11 points each for the Vikings (17-2 overall, 8-0 PAC Liberty), while Lena Stein chipped in 10. Galbavy, who earlier this month became the PV girls basketball program’s all-time leading scorer, scored her 1,656th points on Friday to become the school’s all-time leading scorer (Marvin Cunningham- 1,655 points, Class of 1982).

Miley Maloney led the offensive charge for Spring-Ford (13-5, 5-3) with 12 points.

Downingtown West 53, Pottsgrove 25

Pottsgrove fell short on the road at Ches-Mont leading Downingtown West on Friday night, keeping things close through one quarter before the Whippets pulled away for good. Aleah Rockmore led the Falcons (8-11 overall) with eight points in defeat.

Boys Basketball

Pope John Paul II 79, Delco Christian 76

Jake Robinson led four PJP players in double figures with 16 points to help his team win a tight home Friday non-league contest. Zahaid Edwards-Boone (12 points), Jack Kessler (11 points) and Bradey Bass (10 points) made additional offensive contributions for the Golden Panthers.
