Pope John Paul II 49, Norristown 18

Pope John Paul II put the finishing touches on an undefeated PAC Frontier season, culminating the regular season with a dominant victory at Norristown behind a game-high 19 points from Sophie Vigliotta. The Golden Panthers (17-5 overall, 10-3 PAC, 10-0 Frontier) officially secured the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye in next week’s PAC playoffs, where they will meet the winner of Methacton-Spring-Ford on Feb. 8.

Norristown dropped to 0-20, 0-13, 0-10.

Pottsgrove 39, Upper Perkiomen 29

Aleah Rockmore had a Senior Night to remember as she posted 10 points and eight steals in her final home game. The Falcons (9-12 overall, 7-6 PAC, 7-3 Frontier) also got strong offensive production from Kendra Ivory (10 points, 19 rebounds) and Nylah Stubbs (11 points, eight rebounds, seven steals). Pottsgrove lost out on a spot in the Pioneer Athletic Conference playoffs on a tiebreaker and ended Thursday the 15th-ranked team in District 1-5A, with the top 12 teams earning a spot in the district postseason.

Olivia Keyser’s 12 points were tops for Upper Perkiomen (6-16, 4-9, 3-7).

Spring-Ford 69, Abington 48

Spring-Ford took care of business in its non-league regular-season finale, receiving a team-high 16 points from senior Kareena Preuss. The Rams (16-6 overall) also got double-digit scoring from both Christina Tiffan (15 points) and Miley Maloney (13) points, ending Friday as the 12th-ranked team in District 1-6A.

Aniyah Williams of Abington (12-10) led all scorers with 19 points, with Maya Williams chipping in 18 of her own in the loss.
