New Islamic clothing store opens on High Street in Pottstown
POTTSTOWN — The newest clothing store on High Street features Islamic clothing and accessories.
Called the Fashion Boutique Studio, it is located at 435 E. High St. and celebrated its grand opening on Jan. 3.
In addition to what owner Tariq Muhammad described as “Islamic modest clothing and shoes,” the store carries a large variety of Islamic jewelry, prayer mats and Misbaha, and oils.
Additionally, the store provides a henna tattoo service.
Muhammad said his is the first generation in his family to own a store.
