Olympic Medalist Kristy Kowal and family bring Big Blue Swim School to Paoli

PAOLI — Big Blue Swim School, one of the nation’s fastest-growing swim school franchises, announces the opening of its second Pennsylvania location in Paoli.

Olympic swimmer Kristy Kowal and her family are franchise owners of the new location. Classes officially commence Monday, Oct. 9, at 82 East Lancaster Ave.

“As a former Olympic swimmer, I’m so excited to turn my lifelong love for swimming into a partnership with my brother and sister-in-law,” Kowal said. “Opening a Big Blue is an opportunity for me to share the importance of swimming as a life-saving skill while passing down my love of the water to new swimmers.”

Big Blue Swim School Paoli will offer weekly, year-round 30 to 45-minute swim lessons for children beginning at just three months old, seven days a week. Level-appropriate, engaging lessons are led by professional instructors.

Big Blue sets itself apart from other swim schools with 90-degree, ultra-clean water, a comfortable viewing area to keep an eye on swimmers; plenty of private changing rooms, fall-proof, anti-microbial flooring throughout the facility, free Wi-Fi and ample parking. Additionally, Big Blue’s mobile app gives parents the ability to conveniently schedule and coordinate classes for multiple kids simultaneously and track their swimming progress.

Through opening day, families can take advantage of a special rate when they enroll in weekly swim lessons at Big Blue Paoli and will receive their first four weekly lessons for just $25.  Additionally, The Paoli Chamber of Commerce will officially present Big Blue Swim School to the community with a formal ribbon cutting on opening day, Monday, Oct. 9, at 1 p.m., to be attended by city officials and dignitaries.
