Pottstown agencies partner to offer free mental health care

by medianews group

POTTSTOWN — Be ReZilient and Project Healing Hive have announced a new, free, virtual drop-in mental health resource center dedicated to providing supportive care for individuals seeking mental wellness.

Called “The Link,” this collaboration aims to create an accessible, confidential, and welcoming space for anyone needing mental health support, resources, and community connection.

Both organizations are focused on the importance of accessible and non-judgmental mental health care, that is available when it’s needed. Unlike traditional therapy settings that often require appointments and commitments, The Link offers a flexible approach.

“Our mission with The Link is to break down barriers to mental health care,” Denise Williams, CEO and founder at Be ReZilient, said in a press release announcing the service. “We are creating a safe space where individuals can find the support they need on their terms — no appointments, no waiting lists, just compassionate care meeting people where they are at, with no  fear of  judgment.”

As of today, The Link offers virtual drop-in counseling sessions allowing the community to speak with licensed professionals in a confidential setting without needing to schedule ahead. The Link will be open every Thursday from 4:30 to 8 p.m. and there are three ways to have a session.

• Text “link info” to 610-708-1927

• Voice chat by calling 610-708-1927

• Video sessions: users friendly HIPAA compliant platform with a virtual waiting room

However, the Link does not provide crisis support. Those in crisis in need of immediate help should call 988 or 911.

“Project Healing Hive is thrilled to have Be ReZilient as a partner on this crucial initiative,” said Kristen M.Y., founder of Project Healing  Hive. “Together, we are addressing a critical gap in mental health care by providing a supportive, no-strings-attached environment for those who need it most.”

All are welcome to use this service and find the support they need.

In addition to The Link both organizations offer wellness workshops and classes to learn more about those options visit www. projecthealinghive.org or berezilient.org for more information about The Link.
