POTTSTOWN — Since 2019, this time of year is a special one for fathers and daughters in the Pottstown School District.

It’s when daughters put on their nicest dress and dads put on their Sunday best, and they go dancing — at Pottstown Middle School.

The increasingly popular event is the brainchild of School Board President Katina Bearden who wanted to create an event to engage the community and, in particular, provide incoming middle school students the opportunity to become more familiar with the middle school environment.
