Pottstown’s National Night Out celebration set for Aug. 6
POTTSTOWN — National Night Out, Pottstown’s annual block party, will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 6, at 6 p.m. at the community park at Washington and Chestnut streets.
As in the past, the event will feature free music, food, fun, volunteers from Victory Christian Life Center and Pottstown Community Action and information from more than 30 community groups.
Participants include: Genesis Housing, Pottstown Revitalization, Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities, Pottstown Borough of Pottstown, Hobart’s Run TriCounty Community Network, MISSION KIDS, ACLAMO, Family Centers, ArtFusion 19464, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties, Pottstown NAACP, state Rep. Joe Ciresi, Truist, and YWCA Tri-County Area.
Funding is provided by the Pottstown Neighborhood Partnership of Key Bank and the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.
National Night Out is celebrated annually on the first Tuesday of August.
