Twenty five days after being blown out on its home floor, Methacton returned the favor to Spring-Ford on Jan. 30 with a 22-point rout of the Rams, who took their first Pioneer Athletic Conference Liberty Division loss of the year.

Sal Iemmello scored a game-high 15 points and Alex Hermann added 12 and Christian Matos 11 for the winning Warriors (7-2 Liberty, 9-3 PAC, 14-6 overall).

EJ Campbell’s 11 were tops for Spring-Ford (8-1, 11-1, 16-5), which suffered its biggest loss of the year.

Methacton’s win creates intrigue in the final week of the regular season with Spring-Ford still in first at 8-1 and Methacton and Perkiomen Valley tied at 7-2. SF and PV meet Thursday in their division finales.

Backed by five second quarter 3-pointers, Perkiomen Valley pulled away from Owen J. Roberts to secure a PAC Liberty victory on Jan. 30. Julian Sadler led the Vikings with 15 points, while Josh Tagert (12) and Ryan Murphy (11) also reached double figures. Sadler, Murphy, Tagert and Kyle Shawaluk all connected on multiple treys for Perk Valley (6-2 Liberty, 9-2 PAC, 17-3 overall).

Elijah Cline posted a team-high 12 points for OJR (0-7, 2-8, 8-11), while Colin King and Mekhi Graham tallied eight apiece.

Myon Kirlew was clutch down the stretch with eight fourth-quarter points, including 4-for-4 at the free-throw line, as Norristown nipped Boyertown in a PAC Liberty matchup on Jan. 30.

Kirlew scored 18 while Jayden Byrd supplied a game-high 22 for the Eagles. Kevin Bonds added 10.

Boyertown shared the scoring with five players in double figures, led by 16 from Brant Rath.

Spring-Ford ran its record to 18-3 overall (8-1 Liberty, 11-1 PAC) on the road by handling Methacton in a PAC Liberty Division contest.

Aaliyah Solliday scored 15 each for the Rams while Kareena Preuss chipped in 12 and Haley Prophet had 10.

Spring-Ford carries a seven-game winning streak into its regular-season finale on Friday against Liberty-leading Perkiomen Valley.

Abby Arnold scored 17 for Methacton (5-16 overall, 4-5 Liberty, 5-7 PAC)

As the team’s only senior on Senior Night, Anna Stein made it one to remember as Perkiomen Valley’s superb season kept on rolling in a PAC Liberty triumph on Jan. 30. Stein deposited a team-high 15 points, while Grace Miley (14) and Grace Galbavy (11) also reached double figures for the Vikings (9-0 Liberty, 12-0 PAC, 20-1 overall). Perk Valley led wire-to-wire thanks to a sizzling, 22-point first quarter.

Asya Price scored a game-high 16 points for the Wildcats (2-7, 4-7, 8-12).

Phoenixville remained unbeaten in PAC Frontier play, jumping out to a 31-5 halftime lead against Pottstown and cruising to victory against Pottstown on Jan. 30.

Kayden Baratta led all scorers with a game-high 18 points for Phoenixville (8-0 Frontier, 9-1 PAC, 13-6 overall), while Riley Ford-Bey (nine points) and Emine Ulcay (seven points) also had strong impacts on offense.

Jayanna Hill’s 13 points paced Pottstown (0-8, 0-11, 0-14).
