Silvia’s Level 8-10 gymnasts compile six titles at Pa. State Championships

Silvia’s Gymnastics levels 8 through 10 competed at the Pennsylvania Level 8, 9, 10 State Championships on March 22-24, 2024 at The Miller Center in Lewisburg, Pa., hosted by Dynamats Gymnastics Center.

Six athletes from Silvia’s claimed state championships across the three divisions, Colbie Pulaski, Darcy O’Brien, Taylor Goering, Seiko Mallon, Isabella Beach and Shyla Bhatia.

Level 8 Results

Junior A: Ella McManus placed third on bars and beam, fourth AA and sixth on vault. Junior C: Colbie Pulaski placed first on beam, floor and AA and second on vault. Senior B: Silvia Costanzo placed third on floor and AA, fourth on vault and bars and fifth on beam; Lucy Dombrowski placed second on bars; Sienna DiFebbo placed second on floor. Senior D: Kaylee Walter placed fifth on beam.

Level 9 Results

Junior A: Darcy O’Brien placed first on vault and fourth on beam and floor. Junior B: Avalina Madden tied for fourth on vault. Junior C: Zoe Hontz tied for second on vault, placed fifth on beam and sixth on floor and AA; Zoe LaSorsa placed fourth on beam and tied for sixth on floor. Junior D: Kiera Bhatia tied for third on vault. Senior A: Ana Ianuli placed fourth on floor and fifth on vault. Senior C: Taylor Goering placed first on beam, tied for fourth on floor and placed fifth AA; Elliott Harris tied for second on floor and placed fourth on beam.

Level 10 Results

Junior A: Seiko Mallon placed first on beam and second on floor. Junior B: Isabella Beach placed first on floor, fourth AA and tied for fourth on vault. Shyla Bhatia placed first on vault, bars, floor and AA and second on beam. Senior C: Sarah Golie placed fifth on floor.

Silvia’s Gymnastics levels 3-8 and Excel teams competed at the 2024 Sweets and Leaps Invitational on March 8-10, 2024, at the Bowers Center in Elizabethtown, Pa., hosted by Paramount Gymnastics.

Level 3 Results

Group A: Tilly Evans placed first on vault and beam and second AA. Group B: Brynn McManus placed second on vault and third on beam, floor and AA. Group C: Laila Wismer placed fourth on beam and fifth on vault. Group D: Allie Kellogg placed third on floor and AA, fourth on beam and fifth on vault. Group F: Adalyn Lawrence placed first on beam, third on vault and AA and fifth on floor; Riley Schantz placed fourth on vault and floor and fifth on bars, beam and AA; Memphis Miller placed fourth on bars and fifth on vault. Group I: Reagan Lyter placed fourth on vault.

Level 4 Results

Junior A: Lucia Scigliano placed third on beam and fourth on floor. Junior B: Kamy Knecht placed first on floor, second on bars and A, and third on vault and beam; Brooklyn Curri placed fourth on bars, beam and AA, and fifth on vault. Junior C: Zoe Dougherty placed first on vault, bars, floor and AA and second on beam; Abigail Thomas placed first on beam and fourth AA. Senior A: Addyson Deihm placed first on floor, second on beam, third on vault and AA and fourth on bars; Aubree Nogue placed second on vault and AA and third on bars and floor; Lauren Boyce placed third on beam; Tessa Rogan placed fifth on bars. Senior D: Giulianna Carr placed first on bars, second on vault, floor, and AA and fifth on beam.

Silvia’s Level 4 placed first.

Level 5 Results

Jr. A: Claire Collins placed first on vault, bars, floor and AA and fourth on beam; Lily Dancer placed fifth on bars; Abby Dzielak placed second on beam, fourth on vault and floor and sixth AA. Jr. B: Mackenzie Weatherill placed first on floor, second on beam, third AA and sixth on bars; Harper Rohrbach placed first on bars and floor, third on vault and fourth AA. Sr. A: Avery Miller placed second on bars, fifth on beam and AA and sixth on vault and floor; Cali Casey placed second AA, third on beam, fourth on bars and floor and fifth on vault. Sr. B: Kadence Fox placed third on vault, fifth on bars and sixth on beam and AA.

Silvia’s Level 5 placed second.

Level 6 Results

Junior A: Charlotte Currie placed first on vault, bars, floor and AA and second on beam. Senior A: Madeline Garner placed first on vault, second on floor and fourth on beam and AA. Senior B: Elise Dolha placed first on bars and AA, second on vault, third on beam and fourth on floor. Camille Fedchak placed second on beam, third on vault and fifth on floor and AA.

Silvia’s Level 6 placed first

Level 7  Results

Junior A: Jordynn Craig placed second on vault and floor and fifth AA; Isobel Kehs placed first on vault, floor and AA, second on beam and third on bars. Junior B: Emily Boytsov placed second on bars and third on beam and AA; Avrie Dzielak placed first on vault and second on floor and AA; Jasmine Moser placed second on beam and fourth on floor; Layne Smith placed third on floor. Senior B: Kira Stoddard placed first on vault, second AA, third on bars and floor and fourth on beam.

Silvia’s level 7 team placed first.

Group A: Colbie Pulaski placed first on vault, bars and AA, third on beam and fourth on floor; Ella McManus placed first on beam and third on vault, bars and AA; Avery Yetter placed second on floor, fourth on vault and fifth AA; Charlotte Fleming placed fifth on bars. Group B: Silvia Costanzo placed first on bars and beam, second AA, third on vault and fourth on floor; Lucy Dombrowski placed fourth on bars, beam and AA; Olivia Kehs placed third on floor, fourth on vault and fifth AA; Sienna DiFebbo placed fifth on floor. Cosenza placed fourth on floor; Samantha Wilson placed second on beam and floor and third on floor and AA; Layla Wolf placed third on bars and sixth AA. Senior B: Maddie Boyce placed third on floor, fourth AA and fifth on bars and beam; Addison Moore placed second on floor and fourth on bars; Fiona Murphy placed second on floor and sixth on beam and AA. Senior C: Gabrielle Zakaev placed second on floor and AA, third on beam, fourth on bars and fifth on vault.

Olivia Cannon placed fourth on bars and sixth on beam and AA; Molly Cresswell placed second on vault, fourth AA and fifth on floor and beam; Emily Tobinus placed second on beam, fourth on floor, fifth AA and sixth on bars; Mia Venezia placed fourth AA and fifth on vault, beam and floor; Isabelle Cassano placed first on floor and AA, second on vault and fifth on bars and beam; Ava Sedgwick placed first on floor, third on beam, fourth AA and sixth on vault; Sofie Gilinger placed first on bars, second on vault, third AA, fourth on floor and sixth on beam.

Xcel Platinum Individual Results

Alivia Overton placed third on floor and fourth on vault; Anna Seyler placed third on beam; Caylie Zakaev placed fifth on bars and beam and sixth on vault and AA; Tessa Fosko placed second on floor, fourth on beam and fifth on vault and AA.

Berks East

Berks East gymnast Aimee DiSandro won two events at the Temple Invitational on March 8. DiSandro was the Level 7 Senior Division champion in the vault and floor exercise. Teammate Mary Wiese was fourth on beam and fifth on floor.

Other event winners for Berks East were Charlie Jackson (Xcel Gold Sr., bars, beam, AA), Ava Fabian (L8 Sr., bars, AA); Sloane O’Connor (XS Jr. B, bars), Mackenzie Hansell (L5 Sr., floor), Madelyn Rismiller (XD Jr., beam), Quin Campbell (XS Jr. B, beam), and Reese Wise (XS Jr. A, floor).

At the Spring Into Victory meet on March 24,  Lavinia Ratti took gold in floor, tied for third on the bars and beam and was second all-around in the Level 4 Sr. A division.

Regan Calhoon, competing in Level 4 Jr. A division, won the bars. Ashlyn Disch was first all-around in Level 4 Jr. B.
