With everyone running around getting presents for each other, I sometimes wonder if they forget whose birthday Christmas is anyway, and why it’s so important. Jesus has given all of us the greatest gift the world has ever known and that is the gift of eternal life, if we choose to accept Him, maybe we should get our priorities straight and give Him our utmost thanks, love and praise on Christmas and every day.

Interesting story on porch piracy. Once again passing laws against porch piracy but how to enforce them. The one that may help is if the delivery service would ring the doorbell when a delivery is made. I have very few home deliveries because I like to see what I am buying. My dogs let me know if there is a delivery but no doorbell, They love Chewy deliveries. Good neighbor policies are important.

Below Monday’s Sound Off edition, there was another article detailing that marijuana is a dangerous drug. A man was driving under the influence of marijuana and killed a woman. Why are we so stupid and normalizing marijuana use? Saturday night at Oley’s Christmas in the Valley, marijuana smoke was wafting through the air.

The economy is growing supposedly and it is false. Of course people are spending “more” money, because of inflation! The cost of goods has increased so are they buying more goods and services, or are they just paying more for them? The answer is they are paying more. Eggs are now over $2 a dozen again thanks to Joe Biden. Electricity is increasing again. Two small bags of groceries cost me $40 yesterday.

Something every American should think about, and worry about. Is if Biden can’t complete his term due to health reasons. Or just doesn’t run. Which is highly possible. Harris will be president. Things are horrible now. Her taking the reins as president would be a total disaster for America.

Great column by Robin Abcarian Dec. 18 in The Mercury. It’s about Liz Cheney’s book. Attempting to use the military to overturn an election is scary. Don’t put anything past Trump.

No one from either party should be celebrating the partisan effort by one Democrat court intent on eroding voter’s rights because of their hatred of one specific candidate. Voters should decide our president, not the courts. This is a dangerously slippery slope upon which to set a precedent. Those rejoicing aren’t thinking long-term. Next time, it could easily be their preferred candidate.

Democrats are going all out trying to pervert our Justice system to prevent former President Trump from running again.
