Only a year ago, the Biden administration was refusing to provide long-range missiles to Ukraine. They feared the missiles would be used to strike targets within Russia, and the war could escalate into a nuclear world war. Apparently, the bumbling Biden administration no longer fears a nuclear war. Multiple news organizations are reporting that President Biden has changed his mind, and he’s about to provide Ukraine with these missiles.

I finally agree with Joe Biden when he says our Democracy is under attack. When the government shuts down industries and schools, when the economy forces many to seek assistance from the government, when the government fails to protect its borders, when the government is corrupt, and when the President lies to your face, I would say our Democracy is definitely under attack.

I hope the police question the incompetent, lazy and non-thinking gun owner whose action could have had terrible consequences for the public. Just as oil hit $88/barrel, Biden canceled all the long-standing contracts with oil and gas companies in ANWR. Not only was this illegal, but it reduced the oil supply even further, drove prices higher, and played right into the hands of Russia, China, Iran, and Saudi Arabia. Who does this guy work for anyway? Is there anybody in that administration with a lick of economic sense? Good luck reducing that inflation number Joe!

The president of the Chicago Teachers Union, Stacy Davis-Gates, described public school alternatives as “segregation academies” and “actually the choice of racists.” She was instrumental in ending a program that provided financial support for such options to 9,000 underprivileged children. Where does Davis-Gates, who is Black, send her child to school? The private De La Salle Institute. This is a common practice among public school educators, administrators and union officials as is inflammatory rhetoric.

Electoral College: a sop to slave states encouraging them to ratify the Constitution. Because slaves could not vote those states had insufficient voting populations to exert political power. Additionally, in a time before modern communications, the populace was considered too ill-informed to know what the elites knew, and should not be allowed to have a direct voice. Most objections to a direct popular vote come from those whose political power would be diminished.

The Mercury published an Associated Press article regarding the IRS “cracking down” on millionaires who owe back taxes. The article claimed that 1,600 millionaires owe somewhere around $250,000 each. That would be around $400 million dollars in taxes. So the article and the IRS are trying to justify hiring 87,000 agents. The average IRS employee makes about $72,000. For a cost of over $6 billion. A fine example of Bidenomics!
