Black History Month Fact: The Republican Party was founded in 1854 to oppose the expansion of slavery in the United States. Abraham Lincoln, the first Republican president, issued his Emancipation Proclamation 8 years later. Only 11 years after the founding of the Republican Party, the 13th Amendment to the Constitution was ratified, thereby abolishing slavery everywhere in the United States forever.

Tom M, we all just like airing our thoughts, some take it too personally. I feel some are way too extreme. If our lawmakers would work together, compromise on the extreme, introduce term limits and realize some people are just too old, we would all be better off and things would run a lot smoother.

President Biden told a crowd in Las Vegas on Sunday that he recently met with Francois Mitterrand, the French president who has been dead for nearly 30 years. Yup, nothing to be concerned about.

More Republican hypocrisy: Rep. Pete Stauber (R-Minn.) about two years ago said he did not vote for the infrastructure bill because he feared it would inevitably lead to socialism. Now, he is celebrating the plan to replace the 62-year-old Blatnik Bridge, paid for by the bill he opposed. Another example of cutting off your nose to spite your face.

By the sounds of it, Jay Miller’s life began on January 20, 2021 — the day Dementia Joe was inaugurated. Because he seems to forget the border didn’t need any “fixing” before he broke it.

It appears the check has cleared! 9 months until the presidential election and The Associated Press has started publishing dozens of articles every day telling their dumb readership how wonderful Biden’s economic, social, military, and political policies are performing. Seems to me that if everything under Biden’s reign is so positive, the electorate wouldn’t need the Democrat’s mainstream media shoving it down our throats every hour.

Cato — You declared I don’t understand economics after using the term “unfunded tax cuts.” Spare me your utopian libertarian economic philosophy and let’s stick with current facts. Before leaving office former Republican Sen. Toomey pushed through a huge tax cut package (primarily benefitting billionaires) acknowledging they weren’t cutting spending to offset the cuts and would thereby fuel huge deficits. Toomey’s (and current Republican’s) main sponsor is Club for Growth and PA billionaire Jeff Yass.

Seems that many have not followed the news in the last few days. According to the news, there have been many companies this week with Thousands of layoffs but the commentators say the economy is strong with few layoffs. Once again they tell us what we are supposed to hear, not the truth. Apparently, they wrote their articles before the latest job reports were out.

Reminder that radical Republicans sure do pick terrible candidates. Clarice Schillinger, the unsuccessful Republican candidate for lieutenant governor in Pennsylvania and a conservative “parents rights” activist, was arrested for punching a teenager, harassing and hosting an underage drinking party, USA Today reported. She was the leader of the Backtoschoolpa Paul Martino-funded PAC. Radical Republicans are truly thugs.

Joe Biden spent the last 5 decades on policies that send our jobs to China, eliminate jobs and small towns across America, and help China by selling our farmlands and access to our technology. Decades as an unaccomplished Senator, 8 years as stooge Vice President, and now the face of Obama’s third term as president, and now all Americans are suffering because of it.

Price fixing on meats, Congress is doing nothing. Reelection means more than their jobs. Vote the bums out.

Every time I read a post about restricting abortion rights in Sound Off, it reminds me to vote Democratic. I will vote for women’s rights at the ballot box this November and I hope you are as well!

Congresswoman Elise Stefanick is not fit to hold office. She is a disgrace. Attacking people, and bullying people is not in her job description. Now she’s deleting things that she already said because she’s getting even more radical. She’s drooling at the thought of being Trump’s VP. She should resign.

Flip back to day one of Biden’s presidency where you saw tons of illegals with Biden shirts on ready to come across the border to thank him. It’s never stopped! Now Biden is blaming Republicans for the border? Democrats must think we are stupid! Biden wouldn’t know how to shut the border down with his powers. He could do it now but he will make it political. Trump has nothing to do with this mess!

So much for Democracy in Oregon as far as the Democrats are concerned. The Democrats on the State Supreme Court are striking 10 Republican state Senators from the ballot. So these incumbent Republicans cannot be on the ballot. Sounds exactly like democracy, Democrat style, in Oregon. They claim Republicans are the ones threatening Democracy. Mr. Democracy, aka. Joe Biden, is not saying a word about it of course.

Just wondering why the Democrats need 87,000 more IRS agents to monitor US citizens, but they only need 1,300 more border agents to patrol about 2,000 miles of border 24/7 — maybe about 1 for every 10 miles of border at any given time?

I am still laughing at KC’s comments about A/C’s, dehumidifiers, and Refrigerators. They still go to the same scrap yards as do cars. What do you think happens to the refrigerant? I will tell you, it is released into the atmosphere. Either it leaked out and it was scrapped for that reason or the lines were cut. Car A/C units are crushed in crushers and that is the name of that tune.
