A stray dog appeared at my front door. After it was still there the second day, I called the police and they got in touch with Animal Control. Tracy Ann Daywalt came out and was wonderful. I wish she could get some recognition for going over and above to reunite the dog with its owner.

PECO is a good neighbor for cleaning up and resolving all the violations at their 141 College Drive property in Pottstown. Now, if only Norfolk Southern would do the same Their 53 College Drive property has countless violations, people living in unpermitted structures and mountains of garbage, all on tax-exempt land. Norfolk Southern only cares about the people they allow to live there illegally, not the borough taxpayers. This is not very neighborly.

Every fiscal trend is going in the wrong direction. We’re already at an annual $2 trillion deficit, and it will soar by trillions when a recession hits. It will keep churning with Social Security, Medicare and spending on everything from illegal immigration to new fresh wars. At this point, nothing is standing between us and total collapse. Biden’s Pittsburgh appearance was hilarious, not only for what he said but especially for the backdrop. While saying that his uncle was eaten by cannibals, Biden was standing in front of 10 or so alleged union steel workers who were holding signs. The one guy looked so disgusted the entire time, he must have been blackmailed into standing behind Biden. No one looked like they were enjoying being near Biden.

Last weekend was deadly for motorcyclists in Berks County. Unfortunately between Sunday and Monday, several riders were killed. Accidents happen, but too many cyclists go too fast on roads they don’t know. All of us have seen cyclists who weave in and out of traffic going more than 20 mph over the speed of the traffic. Not sure where the government gets the data for inflation, but it is way below what I am seeing. Just got my new prescriptions in the mail. My cost increased by about 15% over the last order. I thought Joe Biden said he lowered my prescription costs.
