Art Miller is absolutely correct about the BLM mural being redone on King Street. Why doesn’t the YWCA paint Peace and Freedom instead of Black Lives Matter? Everyone can relate to those words. BLM is a proven corrupt organization, so why promote that? Pottstown, do better. If BLM is painted, why can’t MAGA be done? Oh boy, that just triggered the TDS people!

If Pottstown goes down the path of allowing a Black Lives Matter mural on our public street, then it’s only logical and justified that we also have “street art” showcasing MAGA and Turning Point, since the vast majority of citizens are in support of those things, and a minuscule number of racists support BLM. But the racists who rule Pottstown would never let that happen.

Democrat politicians know their voters are so stupid that they insist the shutdown is not about giving healthcare to illegals nor funding gender reassignment surgery for minors. If that were true, they would just remove those provisions from the budget and open up the government. Dems be tripp’n!

As a Penn State football fan, last year appears to be the zenith of James Franklin’s career at Penn State. This year appears to be the nadir for Franklin by a wide margin. He has lost the team. Best thing for him to do is to resign. But Rich Scarcella is still the gold standard for Penn State coverage, and I hope The Mercury continues to carry his work for a long time.

Obamacare, or the “Affordable Care Act,” was supposed to make Healthcare more affordable, according to Democrats. As Diana has pointed out, it has done no such thing, and even as subsidies increased, health insurance has become ever more expensive. When Obamacare is too expensive, then Medicaid is where folks go. Politicians are going to prop Obamacare up again while they lie to themselves and us that Obamacare is sustainable.

How does Pottstown Borough Council tick! The Mercury, a cornerstone of the area for decades! Developers are willing to spend millions on the rehab of the old Mercury building, which would increase the tax base! Council objected partly over the fourth floor not blending into the surroundings. Anyone investing millions in Pottstown should be welcomed with open arms, encouraged, and supported! Council tries cleaning bike lanes and shutting down the Mervine Street junkyard!

Jimmy Kimmel is back on late-night TV, and he’s lying like there’s no tomorrow. Kimmel is now claiming there is no Antifa. He said it’s an imaginary organization, apparently made up by the Trump administration. Based on Kimmel’s dismal ratings, maybe there is no tomorrow for him.

It’s easy to see which politicians scare the GOP billionaire oligarchs the most. If you listen directly to AOC or Mamdani, you can easily see how ridiculous the smear campaigns are against them. That doesn’t mean anyone has to agree with them, but their politics and intelligence are constantly distorted by lying smear campaigns. With Trump, listening to him is all you need to know, too, but his blatant lies are quietly dismissed.

I can’t for the life of me know why the various news organizations continually have Lindsey Graham on their show. He is the biggest hypocrite in Washington.
