Woman dies when car hits tree in Radnor Township
RADNOR – Radnor police are investigating a fatal one-car crash on the 300 block of South Bryn Mawr Avenue that occurred around 11:30 Wednesday morning.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released the name of the woman, pending notification of relatives.
According to the initial report from police, the woman was driving south on Bryn Mawr Avenue when the car went off the road and struck a tree head-on.
The Delaware County Medical Examiner’s office was called to the scene. South Bryn Mawr Avenue was closed for about four hours following the crash.
